BMW originally the Bayerische Motoren Werke AG is an individual company originated in Germany in the early 1900s. The German company has been started by aircraft engines manufacturing, then started to manufacturing motorcycles and ultimately in 1929 went to the activity that made them popular now: to design and build automobiles.
BMW are famous for separating their models into series that are recognized by digits like so: 2-door cabriolets and coupes are included in even numbered series, and estate/wagon and saloon/sedan models are involved in odd numbered series. The BMW 1 Series includes two vehicles: one is launched in late 2004 and second was a 3-door vehicle, that was launched in the summer 2007. a third model was for late 2007 which was coupe/convertible.

The luxury 5 Series car is revamped inside and out also it is integral with a modern 6-cylinder motor. The alternatives of diesel and a V8 engine are offered as well. . The luxury 6 Series came back in 2004 after 15 years of absence in the BMV lineup, with addition of coupe convertible version. Modified versions of the 6 Series were announced in the summer of 2007 and modified versions of M6 coupe and cabriolet are projected on the market shortly.
All innovations in the BMW lineup make their introduction on the ground of the BMW 7 Series.
